GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: New Zealand research vessel "Tui". Year of discovery: 1965. History: Named after Dr James Healy, OBE (1910-1994) for his early research in New Zealand volcanology and geothermal exploration in the Wairakei region. He was a New Zealand Government Volcanologist from 1947-1971.    
Additional information (en): This feature forms a volcano with its associated caldera. It lies 15 km SW of Brothers Seamount and 5 km north of Cotton Seamount in the Kermadec volcanic arc. Minimum depth (m): 1100. Maximum depth (m): 2200. Total relief (m): 1100. Dimension: 16 km x 14 km.
