Notes Additional information (en): This feature has a round shape. Apolaki caldera was discovered in 2019 by Filipina marine geophysicistJenny Barretto, along with co-authors Ray Wood and John Milsom. Byexamining in great detail the bathymetric data of the Benham RiseRegion, they discovered the existence of the world’s largest caldera measuring 150 kilometers in diameter. Ref: "Benham Rise unveiled: Morphology and structure of an Eocene large igneous province in the West Philippine Basin", Elsevier journal. Minimum depth (m): 718. Maximum depth (m): 4510. Total relief (m): 3792. Dimension/size: 230 km x 215 km.

During the day, Apolaki lights the earth with his two bright eyes, while his sister Mayari illuminates cool and gentlelight at night.
