Belgica information (fr): Montagnes culminant à 850 m dont les pentes à l’est sont abruptes et accidentées. Couvertes de glace, elles descendent doucement vers l’ouest et forment un arc orienté nord est-sud ouest le long de la partie est de l’île Liège, dans l’archipel Palmer. Découvertes par l’expédition belge en Antarctique de 1897-1899 sous le commandement d’Adrien de Gerlache et baptisées en l’honneur de Georges Brugmann, consul de Belgique en Norvège et Suède et mécène de l’expédition. |

Hun oostflanken zijn steil en woest, terwijl de westelijke hellingen bedekt zijn met ijs en zachtjes uitlopen in een noordoostzuidwest georiënteerde boog ten oosten van Luik Eiland in de Palmer Archipel. De Belgische Antarctica expeditie (1897-1899) onder leiding van Adrien de Gerlache ontdekte de bergen en noemde ze naar Georges Brugmann, consul in Noorwegen en Zweden en beschermheer van de expeditie. |
