Belgica information (fr): Chaîne de montagnes de 8 km de long, regroupant de nombreux pics pointus dont le plus haut culmine à 1.415 m. Elle est orientée nord est-sud ouest dans la partie sud de l’île Wiencke, dans l’archipel Palmer. Découverte par l’expédition belge en Antarctique de 1897-1899, sous le commandement d’Adrien de Gerlache, qui la baptisa en l’honneur de Jean Du Fief, secrétaire général de la Société royale belge de géographie à Bruxelles. |

Belgica information (nl): 8 km lange bergketen met tot 1.415 m hoge toppen, die zich van noordoost naar zuidwest uitstrekt in het zuiden van Wiencke Eiland in de Palmer Archipel. De Belgische Antarctica expeditie (1897-1899) ontdekte de keten en Adrien de Gerlache noemde hem naar Jean Du Fief, de toenmalige secretaris-generaal van de Société Royale Belge de Géographie. |
