Additional information (en): This feature trends NE-SW on the middle part of the continental slope approximately 60 km offshore from the central E coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It separates North Paritu Ridge and South Paritu Ridge. The name first appeared on NZ Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'Mahia' in 1992. The single position is that of the deepest part. Minimum depth (m): 1200. Maximum depth (m): 1500. Total relief (m): 300. Dimension: 20 km x 5 km. |
