Additional information (en): This is an almost oval shaped feature aligned nearly W-E on the outer continental slope offshore from the central E coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The name first appeared on NZ Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'East Cape' in 1996. Minimum depth (m): 350. Maximum depth (m): 700. Total relief (m): 350. Dimension: 7 km x 5 km.
