GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): History: Named in association with the nearby Campbell Plateau, which itself was named from the adjacent Campbell Island, New Zealand.    
Additional information (en): This feature is a tributary of Bounty Sea Channel incised into the N slope of Campbell Plateau. It extends from the N flank of the Pukaki Bank to Bounty Sea Channel. The name first appeared on Oceanic Bathymetry Series (OBS) chart 'Bounty' in 1970. Minimum depth (m): 1500. Maximum depth (m): 2000. Total relief (m): 500. Dimension: 130 km x 10 km.
