Additional information (en): This feature is located approximately 60 km E-SE of Cape Turnagain, offshore from the E coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the gentle-sided lower part of Madden Canyon that falls as deep as 2000 m. The name first appeared on NZ Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'Turnagain' in 2002. Minimum depth (m): 1900. Maximum depth (m): 2000. Total relief (m): 100. Dimension: 40 km. |
