Additional information (en): This feature comprises two narrow valleys on the NE facing continental slope, centred approximately 40 km N of Cape Reinga ('Te Rerengawairua' in Maori) and 70 km E of Manawatawhi / Three Kings Islands, NW of the North Island of New Zealand. The name first appeared on NZ Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'North Cape' in 1990. Minimum depth (m): 300. Maximum depth (m): 1900. Total relief (m): 1600. Dimension: 30 km x 20 km.
