Additional information (en): This feature trends NE-SW and has an axis that ranges in depth from about 480 m at the N-E end to 560 m at the S-W end, located approximately 73 km NE of Cape Turnagain, offshore from the E coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It was first depicted on NZ Coastal Bathymetry Series (CBS) chart 'Turnagain' in 2002. Minimum depth (m): 450. Maximum depth (m): 600. Total relief (m): 150. Dimension: 35 km x 10 km.
