Notes GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Korean research vessel "Araon". Year of discovery: 2011. History: Named from Seorak Mountain in Republic of Korea, as this undersea feature has a shape similar to that of the ridge portion of the mountain, that is, it similarly shows a jagged topographic form.
