It is situated within the Papahanumokuakea Marine Nat’l Monument. Feature Description: Max depth: approx. 5,330m, Min depth: approx. 3,894m, Total Relief: approx. 1,436m. Survey vessel: NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer. The name is in honor of the NOAA ship Okeanos Explorer, which mapped the seamount for the first time on March 11, 2016.
