Notes Additional information (en): A ridge located southwest of the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific Ocean. Named for the cornerstone of the US Capitol laid on 18 September 1793 by George Washington; the feature was discovered 18 September 2017. This feature name was proposed by the Schmidt Ocean Institute. Approved by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names at USBGN Meeting 273; 17 July 2018.
