Additional information (en): A seamount located southwest of the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific Ocean. Named for Dr. Charles Howard Edmonson, marine biologist, of the 1923 Tanager Expedition. This feature name was proposed by the University of Hawaii at Manoa Department of Oceanography. Approved by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names at USBGN Meeting 273; 17 July 2018. |
