Additional information (en): This feature is located on the Sohm Abyssal Plain and is one of the Fogo Seamounts. Adopted from the Canadian Geographical Names Data Base (CGNDB). Minimum depth (m): 3900. Maximum depth (m): 5100. Total relief (m): 1200. Dimension/size: 40 km x 18 km.

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: . Year of discovery: . History: Named from the "Algerine" , a Newfoundland ship owned by Bowring Brothers of St. John's. She was chartered by the White Star Line late in the search, to operate with the Canadian government vessel "Montmagny". She left St. John's on May 15, 1912, and returned June 8, 1912. She recovered the last body, that of James McGrady, who was buried in Halifax.
