GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Brazil. History: 2019.","Discoverer: French research vessel ""Pourquoi Pas ?"". Year of discovery: 2009. History: Named from the Brazilian Frigate ""Bosísio"" (F-48) that participated in the search and recovery mission for the wreckage of the Air France Flight 447 in 2009, near the São Pedro and São Paulo Archipelago. The Brazilian Navy mobilized more than 1100 people as part of the search and recovery effort. The ship was sunk as a target in July 2017 by the Brazilian Navy."
