Notes Additional information (en): Feature description: An undersea hill in the Southern Ocean History/Origin/Meaning: Named for Elizabeth Maude Herriott (1882-1936), who undertook pioneering study of the anatomy of the giant kelp Durvillea Antarctica. First woman to be elected to the Council of the Canterbury Philosophical Institute.
