Notes Additional information (en): Feature description: An undersea ridge in the Southern Ocean. History/Origin/Meaning: Named for Andrew Leachman (1945-2017), was Master of the RV James Cook and RV Tangaroa. His time in command of these two vessels saw him operate extensively around New Zealand and in the Antarctic waters of the Southern Ocean in support of significant national and international marine research programmes.
