It was resurveyed in 2021 by the Indonesian Hydro-Oceanography Center (Jala Citra I / Aurora expedition). Minimum depth (m): 393. Maximum depth (m): 1008. Total relief (m): 615. Dimension/size: 7 km².

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Indonesian Navy survey vessel "KRI Spica 934". Year of discovery: 2021. History: Named from its location as Yudo Sagoro means "Sea War" in Indonesian language, referring to the battle in this area in 1944, during World War II, between the Allies and Imperial Japan in 1944 to occupy Morotai Island in the NW of this region.
