Notes Additional information (en): Several undersea features in this area have been named from different drums, the traditional Chinese musical instruments. These are Bangu (plank drum), Zhangu (war drum), Huapengu (flowerpot drum), Langzhanggu (wolf drum), Shugu (Story-telling drum), Tanggu (Tang drum) and Paigu (group drum). Minimum depth (m): 3524. Maximum depth (m): 4328. Total relief (m): 804. Dimension/size: 11.7 km × 7.2 km.     
GEBCO: associated meeting, proposer and year of proposal (en): Associated meeting: SCUFN-34.3. Proposer: China Navy Hydrographic Office. History: 2021.    
GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Chinese survey vessel "877 Hao". Year of discovery: 2019. History: Named from its shape as this feature ressembles a Zhangu (war drum, in Chinese). It is similar to a Tang drum, but with a lower body and sonorous sound. It was used in war field to encourage soldiers to keep up high morale in the ancient times.
