GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Philippines survey vessel "Hydrographer Presbitero". Year of discovery: 2019. History: Named from the loro, a local name for parrot, which beak resembles the feature' shape. Parrots are one of the preferred animal companions due to its intelligence and vibrant array of colorful plumage.
