Notes Additional information (en): This feature has a nearly round shape. From 2013-2018, the Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted biological surveys of seamounts in the western Pacific Ocean, where the “Jiaolong” and “Faxian” bathyscaphs discovered this kind of sponges on the seafloor. Minimum depth (m): 3112. Maximum depth (m): 5433. Total relief (m): 2321. Dimension/size: 19 km x 16 km.

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Chinese research vessel "Xiang Yang Hong 06". Year of discovery: 2019. History: "Jingqiu" is the Chinese name for the species “Bologominae sp”. It is a kind of sessile sponge usually seen on the seabed of tropical seas. The feature resembles a bulbous sponge growing on the seafloor.
