Additional information (en): This feature has a nearly round shape. From 2013-2018, the Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted biological surveys of seamounts in the western Pacific Ocean, where the “Jiaolong” and “Faxian” bathyscaphs discovered this kind of sponges on the seafloor. Minimum depth (m): 3112. Maximum depth (m): 5433. Total relief (m): 2321. Dimension/size: 19 km x 16 km. |

The feature resembles a bulbous sponge growing on the seafloor. |
