Notes Additional information (en): This feature has an irregular shape. The horseshoe crab has been on the earth for more than 300 million years and is known as a “living fossil”. Minimum depth (m): 2215. Maximum depth (m): 5189. Total relief (m): 2974. Dimension/size: 61 km x 41 km.

GEBCO: discoverer and year of discovery (en): Discoverer: Chinese research vessel "Xiang Yang Hong 06". Year of discovery: 2019. History: "Zhonghuahou" is the Chinese name for Horseshoe Crabs (tachypleus tridentatus in Latin). The feature looks like a horseshoe crab crawling on the sea floor, from the top view. Horseshoe crabs are mainly distributed in China, Indonesia and Vietnam.
