Notes Belgica information: Point marking the NE end of a small peninsula which extends into Flandres Bay just N of Thomson Cove, on the W coast of Graham Land. First charted by the BelgAE under Gerlache, 1897-99, and named "Cap Rahir," probably for Maurice Rahir, Belgian geographer and member of the Belgian Royal Geographical Society. http://geonames.usgs.gov    
Belgica information: Point marking the north-east end of a small peninsula which extends into Flanders Bay just north of Thomson Cove, on the west coast of Graham Land. First charted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition under de Gerlache, 1897-1899, and named “Cap Rahir,” for Maurice Rahir, vice secretary of the Royal Belgian Geographical Society.
