Notes Belgica information (en): Bay 9 mi long and 3 mi wide, which lies between Beneden Head and Duthiers Point along the W coast of Graham Land. Discovered by the BelgAE, 1897-99, under Gerlache, and named by him for Rolf Andvord, Belgian consul at Christiania (Oslo) at that time (http://aadc-maps.aad.gov.au/aadc/gaz/display_name.cfm?gaz_id=121828) / http://geonames.usgs.gov.    
Belgica information (en): 08/09/1953 - Bay on SW side of Arctowski Peninsula, Danco Coast. Roughly charted by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition 1898, and named Baie Andvord, after Rolf Andvord, Belgian Consul in Christiania at that time (BEL map 1899). Fue descubierta por la Expedición Antártica Belga de Adrián de Gerlache durante 1897-99 y nominada así en honor del cónsul belga en Cristianía (Oslo), Rolf Andvord, quien facilitó los trámites para la compra del buque expedicionario. Découverte par l’expédition belge en Antarctique de 1897-1899 sous le commandement d’Adrien de Gerlache et baptisée par lui en l’honneur de Rolf Andvord, consul de Belgique à Christiania (Oslo) à la date du départ.    
Belgica information (nl): Deze 17 km lange en 6 km brede baai ligt tussen Kaap Van Beneden en Kaap Duthiers op de westkust van Graham Land. De Belgische Zuidpoolexpeditie (1897-1899) onder leiding van Adrien de Gerlache ontdekte de baai en noemde hem naar Rolf Andvord, de toenmalige Belgische consul in Christiana (Oslo).
