Notes Belgica information: Steep-sided headland, 700 m, forming the N side of the entrance to Andvord Bay, on the W coast of Graham Land. Discovered by the BelgAE, 1897-99, and named after Prof. Edouard Van Beneden, president of the Belgica Commission and author of several of the zoological reports of the expedition.http://geonames.usgs.gov    
Belgica information: teep-sided headland, 700 m, forming the north side of the entrance to Andvord Bay, on the west coast of Graham Land. Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1897-1899, and named after Prof. Edouard Van Beneden, president of the Belgica Commission and Professor in Botany at the University of Li├Ęge, Belgium, one of the first scientists to promote the expedition.
